How long have you been part of the BRAVEday team, and what did you do before?
I have been part of the BRAVEday team since February 2014, returning to the workforce after being lucky enough to be a stay-at-home Mum. Prior to this I had been in the insurance industry for about 10 years in various roles from risk claims management, third party administration to product and pricing analyst.
What do you do to fill in your work day?
I manage our customer care programme and handle client enquiries, anything from premium queries to a change of address. I also manage the administration of the group medical schemes as well as assist clients with their medical claims queries and am usually the first person you will speak to when you call.
What about family?
I have a wonderful husband, an amazing teenage daughter, and an adorable fur baby.
What is the most challenging thing you have ever done?
Renovate a house with very little experience and a very limited budget. Six months plus of endless nights after work and every weekend occupied by DIY. Plenty of challenges were presented with this project but it was all worth it in the end.
Any special achievements/awards you want to brag about?
Our daughter. I know all parents say this, but she really is just the best thing ever.
What do you do for fun?
Spending time with my family is really important. I also love to travel, and there is so much more of the world I want to see. I also love reading a good book, am mad keen on Pilates and like a good walk.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
Teleportation. It would be so cool to never to be stuck in traffic or have to pay for an airfare ever again.
What is your life "Theme Song" right now?
Hmm, it’s just too hard to pick as it changes daily. Whatever Spotify delivers on the day.
