How long have you been part of the BRAVEday team, and what did you do before?
I started working for BRAVEday in February 2005. Before that I worked for a computer parts wholesaler.
What do you do to fill in your work day?
My role is varied, with no two days the same. The key component of my role is keeping up to date with our compliance requirements and streamlining our internal processes. I also assist Dean with the implementation, management, and review of our group insurance schemes and help with general 'day to day' problem solving and trouble shooting.
I am responsible for training our new team members and offering cover when someone is on leave. As I have been with BRAVEday for several years, I have experience in most areas of the business.
In addition to the above I work with Tania to create our newsletters and marketing campaigns; my strength is the design and layout.
What about family?
I got married in 2012. I have two children; my son was born in April 2020 and my daughter was born in February 2023.
What is the most challenging thing you have ever done?
Making and decorating cakes. I love the creativity of doing this but sometimes they are super challenging.
Any special achievements/awards you want to brag about?
I have a Diploma in Business, from AUT which I completed in 2002.
What do you do for fun?
I am a real foodie. When I have the time, I love to eat and cook. I also really enjoy getting out into the garden and growing vegetables. I also love to spend time with my family.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
I would love to be able to fly. How awesome would it be to never have to worry about traffic jams ever again?
What is your life "Theme Song" right now?
I have no idea, so I did an online quiz and it told me my theme song was "Telephone" by Lady Gaga.
