June 28th is insurance awareness day. A day to remind you that things can, and unfortunately do, go wrong - but there is something you can do about it.

Having an insurance plan in place doesn't undo the event that triggers a claim but it can totally turn around how you cope with it.

Insurance is all about choice and retaining the choices in your life for as long as possible.  At BRAVEday we are realists and prefer to structure our clients cover for 'when' they claim, not 'if'.

We get a huge amount of feedback from our clients that our process is simple, straight forward and they come away at the end of it actually understanding how insurance works.

We've included a super simple table below which we use to help illustrate the types of policies available and the risks that they cover.

Taking the first step to getting your insurance under control is easy -contact an insurance specialist who can help you understand the products, what your risks are and who you trust to fight for you at claim time….yep - you guessed it….it's us.

Three little known insurance facts:

  1. Most medical insurance policies contain a public hospital cash grant benefit.  Usually after the 3rd or 4th night in a public hospital a benefit of between $100 and $300 can be claimed for each extra night spent in hosptial.
  2. There are several different types of income protection policies, of these two provide much higher levels of protection for self employed people.
  3. The majority of life insurance policies include cover for suicide.
