I am very proud to see a story in the NZ Herald today about one of my close friends and a client of BRAVEday.
Sue is a true inspiration to me. Not only has she built her business 'The Great Catering Company' into a very successful empire, but she has also faced breast cancer head on… and beaten it.
As Sue is a client of ours, we at BRAVEday have seen how she has fought this terrible disease, from day one (read her story here). Her attitude and fight over the last 12 months has been a real inspiration to both me personally and our staff at BRAVEday… She is one tough, brave, fantastic lady.
There were many times through the claims process where I got off the phone with her or came away from a catch up where I thought "man, I don't know how she does it" - her attitude and her positivity really affected me. As I have said, Sue is a true inspiration and no better example of 'Living Boldly'.
I am also proud that the insurance she had in place, and that paid out, made an obvious difference to her and her business. She can now get stuck in again to something she obviously has great passion for - rather than start again because everything had folded.
Thanks Sue - you are a great friend, inspiring lady and business person. A true reminder why we do what we do here at BRAVEday.
