The great thing about the type of insurance that we deal with is when you need it; it can be used to get problems or issues fixed straight away!
Unfortunately health issues or problems occur when we least expect them, or at the most inappropriate time and your cover needs to be already in place and sorted.

I am currently dealing with a nagging health issue - a prolapsed disc in my back. Man I'm glad I've got medical insurance. I went to my GP last week after a couple of months of physio and acupuncture and was referred to a specialist and to have an MRI scan.
The next day I had received my pre-approval for both of these - two days later and I have had my MRI and my specialist appointment is made, I will be there next week.
I wonder how long the wait in the public health system would be for an MRI: 6-12 months? Followed by a specialist appointment, a further 6-12 months?

No one ever complains about insurance premiums at claim time - and I'm speaking from experience!!
