Last night Dean and I were fortunate enough to be invited to attend the Lexus M2 Man and Woman of the year awards. It was an evening full of fun and vibrancy. It was great to be amongst such an energetic and positive group of people. Tim Lawrence (the founder of M2) was particularly good to watch - he was electric.
It was fantastic to see New Zealanders being celebrated for their success - no signs at all of tall poppy syndrome.

On a personal note I was super excited to have the opportunity to meet Karen Walker and her husband Mikhail. Karen was lovely to talk to and very gracious in posing for a photo as well.
