5 tips to beat the back-to-work blues

Most of us have been back a work now for a couple of weeks and may be finding it difficult to get back into the swing of things. If this is you, here are some tips to help you beat the back to work blues:

1. Get organised and set yourself up for the year.  Tidy up your desk, sort out files and clear out your in-box and electronic files.


2. Get some fresh air.  Go for a walk on your lunch break or sit outside and enjoy the sun.


3. Take care of yourself. Get back into your exercise routine, eating healthily and make sure you get a proper night's sleep.


4. After-work activities.  It's summer, so enjoy the longer days, arrange sporting or social activities with friends and family so you have something to look forward to after work.


5. Start planning your next holiday or a weekend away. This will give you something to look forward to and keep your motivation levels up.
