How long have you been part of the BRAVEday team, and what did you do before?

I started in December 2015 with BRAVEday. I resigned from my role as a Commonwealth Bank Branch Manager in Australia after almost 21 years and moved to New Zealand at the beginning of September 2015 as I had fallen in love with the country during a holiday here.

What do you do to fill in your work day?

I look after reviews for the risk insurance side of the business, so I touch base with all our clients on an annual basis to ensure their cover is up to date. 

What about family?

My family - mother, father and brother - are all back in Australia. I've had a few visitors over the last couple of years with more to come. I'm getting good at being a make-do travel guide. 

What is the most challenging thing you have ever done?

I guess some people would say 'resigning and packing up and moving to New Zealand' would have been challenging. However, the most challenging part of that  process was fitting my whole life into two suitcases!

Any special achievements/awards you want to brag about?

While I was with the Commonwealth Bank, my branch won the Customer Service Award. We were the only branch in New South Wales to achieve 100% customer service scores from our clients.

What do you do for fun?

I love stand-up paddle boarding and I would like to get back into that in New Zealand. I am loving the bush walks here and visiting new places every chance I get! 

If you could have a super power what would it be?

To keep all my family and friends health and happy. 

What is your life "Theme Song" right now?

Bon Jovi - It's my life (I ain't gonna live forever!)
