Last week the BRAVEday team attended the Westpac Auckland North Business Awards, where we were finalists in three categories, the Eclipse "Employer of Choice", the Zeald "Small Business of the Year" and the Simpson Western"Excellence in Customer Engagement".

Dean and Tania are overseas, and weren't able to physically be at the dinner, but thanks to modern technology and social media, we were in touch with them throughout the awards ceremony.

We all glammed up for the event, the excitement was palpable …. even more so when BRAVEday was announced as the winner of the Employer of Choice award! As an employee, I was so stoked that we scooped this award …. Dean and Tania really deserve recognition for the unique culture they have created here - it's an amazing place to work!

Unfortunately we missed out on the Customer Engagement award - congratulations to McDonalds Glenfield for that one. Next up for us was the Small Business of the Year …. tension was high, fingers were crossed and breath was being held ….. Wow, we won!!

As a team, we are all so proud of this achievement. It is awesome to be recognised across all sectors, not just those in our industry.

Congratulations too to all of the other finalists and award winners - it's fantastic to be able to celebrate success with such talented businesses.
