For the first time in many years I got to the movies twice over
the weekend - what a contrast!! One was really funny, one was
really stink.
'Sione's 2' was again a light hearted funny and
entertaining watch which really appealed to my humour.
I was taken back to my teenage years - great to see people
laughing at themselves. Maybe not quite up to the original -
but still worth a watch.
'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' however was a
different story. I didn't walk out (as I said to my 16 year
old daughter she could do if she was bored) but I was very close
about five times. The ice cream we had was the highlight.
I can honestly say at no time did I get a real handle on the
story line; who were the baddies and who were the goodies, or when
it would end …… The end couldn't come quick enough.
It was dead boring and I would much rather have stayed at home
watching Rafa playing in the 4th round of the Australian
Open… much more drama.
